New Delhi: Ram Lal Anand College defeated PGDAV College by 17-25, 25-21,15-10 in the Dr. K P Bhatt Memorial Volleyball tournament organised by Satyavati College, Delhi University.
On 31st Jan, 2024 the Volleyball tournament witnessed a momentous occasion as Professor Rekha Saxena, Department of Political science Convenor CFRG, a distinguished figure graced the inauguration of 3rd day of  the tournament.
The ceremony began with a warm welcome extended to the esteemed guest encouraging both the teams  i.e, RLA College and PGDAV College with best wishes.
The symbolic ribbon cutting by Professor Rekha Saxena along with the Sports Convener Dr. Sanjay Chaudhary, marked the official commencement of the tournament igniting the competitive spirit among the participating teams.
In a heartwarming gesture, the authorities expressed their gratitude to Professor Saxena by presenting a thoughtful gift.
The synergy between the esteemed guest, Professor Saxena and the authorities became palpable as they actively participated in the enthusiastic event. Their collective involvement added a dynamic and engaging dimension, fostering a sense of camaraderie within the tournament.
The team members’ contributions have been nothing short of exemplary, each imbuing their distinctive expertise and fervor into the collaborative tapestry, Mr.Ashwani Rawal (Asstt. Professor, Phy.Education), Mr. Suraj Bhati ( Asstt. Professor, Phy.Education) and Ms. Anjali ( Volleyball Coach) contributing in the successful conduct of the tournament.
