Two women wrestlers Anshu and Sonam earned Tokyo Olympic quota

New Delhi: Indian wrestlers have won 2 Silver and 6 Bronze medals in Asian Qualifires . The Asian Olympic Qualifying Competition was held at Almaty (Kazakhstan) from 9th to 11th April 2021. Total 14 wrestlers (6 Greco Roman, 5 Women & 3 Free Style) represented the country in the above event and 2 women wrestlers Anshu malik and Sonam Malik have earned the quota for 2021 Olympic Games. So far, 6 wrestlers (3 Free Style & 3 Women Wrestlers) have earned the quota for the country.

The next Olympics qualification event will be held at Sofia (Bulgaria) in first week of May 2021 and 12 Wrestlers will represent for country to earn more quota.
