New Delhi: Host Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College defeated St. Stephen’s College 6–0 to enter into the final of 5th PSPB Baba Deep Singh Hockey (Men & Women) Tournament in the men’s category. They will face Shyam Lal College, which beat Indira Gandhi Institute of Physical Education & Sports Sciences (IGIPESS) 2–0 in its final round-robin league match. Mandeep and Pankaj scored one goal each for Shyam Lal College. Himanshu (captain, Shyam Lal College) was named ‘Player of the Match.’

For Khalsa College, Tanuj scored three goals, while Priyanshu, Vineet, and Prabhneet scored one goal each. Piyush (Khalsa College) was named ‘Player of the Match.’

The women’s final will be played between the two top teams after the round-robin league, Delhi University Alumna and Vivekananda College.

In a men’s last league match, Kirori Mal College defeated Hansraj College 4–1. Chirag scored two goals for the winners, while Samar Singh and Rohit Dangi added one goal each. Sagar Yadav scored for Hansraj College. Chirag of Kirori Mal College was awarded ‘Player of the Match.’
