PGDAV College Wins 3rd Swami Dayanand Saraswati T20 Day-Night Cricket Tournament Crown

New Delhi: With brilliant batting from “Man of the Match” Yash Dabas (91 off 36 balls, 6 fours, 10 sixes) and lethal bowling by Pranit (4-1-28-4), host PGDAV College became champions in the 3rd Swami Dayanand Saraswati Inter-College T20 Day-Night Cricket Tournament.

PGDAV College Principal Professor Darvinder Kumar presented the trophy and awards to the winners.

In the final match, PGDAV College defeated PGDAV Yellow Team by 8 wickets. After winning the toss, PGDAV Yellow Team chose to bat first and scored 192 runs for 8 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Dhruv Narang contributed 102 runs, while Naitik Yadav scored 58 runs. Pranit took 4 wickets for 28 runs, and Vaibhav Pandey picked up 2 wickets conceding 46 runs.

In response, PGDAV College chased down the target by scoring 196 runs for 2 wickets in 14.5 overs, winning the match by 8 wickets. Yash Dabas scored 91 runs, and Ankit Kumar added 66 runs.

The PGDAV College men’s team has also became champions of the Delhi University Inter-College Cricket Tournament 2025-2026 after 27 years. For the first time, the PGDAV college also awarded a total cash prize of ₹2.8 lakh to players who performed excellently across different sports at various levels.
