New Delhi: A superb all-round performance by Rahul guided Bal Bhavan Dwarka to a 34-run victory over Noida Wonders in the final of the 49th All India Lala Raghubir Singh Hot Weather Prize Money Cricket Tournament played at Modern School, Barakhamba Road.

Batting first, Bal Bhavan Dwarka posted a competitive total of 306 runs in 38.4 overs. Dev Lakra top-scored with 58 runs, while Himanshu Rana contributed 45 runs. Dhruv Singh added 43 runs, Rahul scored 37 runs, and Yash Bhatia chipped in with 30 runs.

Chasing a target of 307, Noida Wonders were bowled out for 272 runs in 37.1 overs. Priyanshu Pandey played a sensational innings of 107 runs off 44 balls, smashing 9 fours and 10 sixes. Gagan Vats scored 35 runs, while Harsh Tyagi added 28 runs, but their efforts were not enough to take their team over the line.

For Bal Bhavan Dwarka, Rahul starred with both bat and ball, scoring 37 runs and claiming 3 wickets for 42 runs, earning him the Player of the Match award. Dev Lakra also made a valuable contribution with 2 wickets.

Best Batsman of the Tournament: Priyanshu Pandey (Noida Wonders)

Best Bowler of the Tournament: Harshit Sethi (Noida Wonders)

Best All-Rounder of the Tournament: Yajas R Sharma (Bal Bhavan Dwarka)

Bal Bhavan Dwarka, the tournament champions, received a cash prize of ₹2,50,000 along with the winner’s trophy and bags, while the runners-up Noida Wonders were awarded ₹1,50,000, the runners-up trophy and bags.

Also present on the occasion were Mr. Ravinder Manchanda(Former Treasurer, DDCA), Justice Mukul Mudgal (Chairman, Modern School) and Dr. Vijay Datta (Principal, Modern School, Barakhamba Road), who congratulated the players on an exciting and successful tournament.
