New Delhi: An unbeaten century by Dhruv Singh and a superb knock from Yash Bhatia guided Bal Bhavan Dwarka into the final of the 49th All India Lala Raghubir Singh Hot Weather Prize Money Cricket Tournament after a convincing 171-run victory over Rann Star Club in the semifinal played at Modern School, Barakhamba Road.

Batting first, Bal Bhavan Dwarka posted a formidable 342/8 in 40 overs. Dhruv Singh led the charge with a magnificent 111 not out off 58 balls, striking 9 fours and 7 sixes. Yash Bhatia contributed a brilliant 83 off 65 balls, including 11 fours and 3 sixes, while Yajas R. Sharma added a quick-fire 66 off 41 balls with 4 fours and 5 sixes.

Chasing a daunting target of 343, Rann Star Club was bowled out for 171 in 22.3 overs. Abhay Chauhan was the standout performer for the losing side, smashing a breathtaking 87 off just 22 balls, featuring 6 fours and 10 sixes. Shubham Dubey also impressed with the ball, claiming 3 wickets for 66 runs.

For Bal Bhavan Dwarka, Suryakant Chauhan starred with the ball, taking 4 wickets for 23 runs, while Agrim Sharma picked up 2 wickets for just 2 runs. Yajas R. Sharma capped off an excellent all-round performance by claiming 2 wickets for 32 runs.

Dhruv Singh was adjudged Man of the Match for his outstanding unbeaten century. The Man of the Match award was presented to Dhruv Singh by Coach Randhir Singh in recognition of his match-winning performance.

With this emphatic victory, Bal Bhavan Dwarka has secured a place in the tournament final, where it will face Noida Wonders in a highly anticipated title clash. Cricket enthusiasts will now be eagerly awaiting the championship showdown between the two strong teams.
