Sara X Golf Code, Athletic Drive, Baale Golf and SwingKKings set up semi-final clash at DGC Members League

DELHI GOLF CLUB MEMBERS LEAGUE POWERED BY RADICO QUARTER FINALS

NEW DELHI: Sara X Golf Code, Athletic Drive, Baale Golf and SwingKKings will contest in the Semi-Finals of the 5th Edition of the Delhi Golf Club Members League – powered by RADICO’ being played at the historic Delhi Golf Club.

The first quarterfinal between 24 Lions and Sara X Golf Code began with Sara X Golf Code breaking the ice with a win in the first game. The second game was tied and Sara went two up with a win in the third game. 24 Lions struck back to win the fourth game but Sara X Golf Code romped to a win in the fifth and sixth games. The final game was tied and Sara X Golf Code cruised into the Semi-Finals with 10 points as against their opponents tally of 4 points.

The second quarter-final of the day between Sterling Swingers and Athletic Drive witnessed Sterling Swingers grab the momentum early on to win the first three games. Showing tremendous grit and resilience, Athletic Drive won the last four games in a row to tally 8 vital points against Sterling Swingers tally of 6 points.

In the third quarter-final, Baale Golf, won the first two games against Bajaj Foundation, who returned the favour in the third and fourth games. Baale Golf came back to win games five and six. Bajaj Foundation won the seventh game but could muster only 6 points as against Baale Golf’s tally of 8 points.

In the final quarter-final contest between SwingKKings and The Pioneers, SwingKKings won the opening game but The Pioneers fought back to win the second. Determined to keep their noses ahead in the race, SwingKKings registered wins in the third and fourth games to go one up. Staging a comeback of sorts, The Pioneers won the fifth game. Stepping on the gas, SwingKKings went on to annex the sixth and seventh games to make their own the semi- final berth. SwingKKings pocketed 10 points for their win while The Pioneers had to settle for 4 points.
