New Delhi: Host Shyam Lal College defeated Shri Ram College of Commerce by 7-1 in the 10th Padmashree Shyam Lal Memorial Invitational Hockey (Women’s and Men’s) Tournament 2024.
 For Shyam Lal College Rohit and Lalit scored two goals each, Praveen, Jatin and Ashish Sherawat scored one goal each. Nishant scored the only goal for Shri Ram College of Commerce. SNS Hockey Man of the Match award was given to Lalit Sharma of Shyam Lal College by the Principal of the college, Dr. Rabi Narayan Kar.

In the second match, Indira Gandhi Institute of Physical Education & Sports Sciences defeated Hansraj College by 4-0. Farman scored two goals, Manoj and Ram Yadav scored one goal each. SNS Hockey Man of the Match award went to Chiranjeev of IGI.
In the third match, Shyam Lal College Evening defeated Kirori Mal College by 3-1. For the winning team, Akash scored two goals and Kuldeep scored one goal, while for Kirori Mal College, Devashish scored one goal. In this match, SNS Hockey Man of the Match award was given to Krishna of Shyam Lal College Evening.
 In the fourth match, Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Khalsa College defeated Shyam Lal College Alumni by 5-1. Mohit, Tanuj, Manish, Ankit and Harshit Tewatia scored one goal each for the winning team, while Pratyush Singh Jaggi scored the only goal for Shyam Lal College Alumni.
Vipin was given the SNS Hockey Man of the Match award.
