New Delhi: The two students of Dronacharya Bhupender Dhawan, Ritesh Dogra in 90kg class and Surender Singh in 100kg class, have created a history at England by getting Olympia Powerlifting Pro-Card Championship, England.

It is for the first time in Indian history when two more students from the same Gym, i.e., Dronacharya The Gym have got PRO-CARD for Olympia Pro Powerlifting Championship. Dronacharya The Gym of India earlier has a Champion Mr. Mukesh Singh Gahlot who won 2 medals including a gold and a bronze in Olympia Pro Powerlifting Championships.

This time Ritesh Dogra in 90kg class and Surender Singh in 100kg class have been successful in getting their Pro-Card in Powerlifting Qualifiers Meet Mansfield, England held on 4th September, 2022. An English powerlifter Mr John Cotton from England also got Pro-Card in this Qualifier Meet.

Speaking on this achievement of his students, Dronacharya Bhupender Dhawan applauded the hard work and dedication put in by his students at the event. “Hard work is a key to success” has been proved by my students, he said.
