New Delhi: First Yash Pal Sharma memorial cricket tournament will be played from November 17 at Mohan Meakin Ground, Mohan Nagar. Mishra Sports Club is the organizer of the tournament.

Yash Pal Sharma was a former Test cricketer and a important member of 1983 World Cup winner Indian team. He was also a first class Umpire. He has also served as National Selector. He was retired from State Bank Of India.

Vijay Bahadur Mishra, former Ranji player is organizing the tournament in the memory of his senior cricketer from State Bank Of India.

Top teams are participating in the tournament. Opening match will be played between host Mishra Sports Club and TNM Cricket Academy at 8. am on Thursday.
