The UST Man of the Match award was presented to Mohammad Sultan Ansari for his outstanding century by Mohinder Chhabra and Sehgal Cricket Club owner Sandeep Sehgal.

New Delhi: A fine century by Mohammad Sultan Ansari helped Sehgal Cricket Club enter the semifinals of the 41st All India Laxman Das Chhabra Memorial Cricket Tournament being played at St. Stephen Ground, Mori Gate.

Batting first, Telefunken Club were bowled out for 225 runs in 32.3 overs. Bharat Sindhwani scored 58 runs, Mayank Dagar added 55 runs, while Yash Dabas contributed 35 runs. For Sehgal Cricket Club, Pankaj Jaswal bowled brilliantly and claimed 4 wickets for 26 runs, while Nishant Thakur picked up 3 wickets for 44 runs.

In reply, Sehgal Cricket Club chased down the target by scoring 227/5 in 27.5 overs and won the match by 5 wickets. Mohammad Sultan Ansari played a brilliant knock of 113 runs off just 59 balls, smashing 17 fours and 4 sixes. Rohit contributed 57 runs, while Dhiru Singh remained unbeaten on 35 runs. For Telefunken Club, Sunny Shankhwar bowled well and took 3 wickets for 56 runs.

The Kimati Fighter of the Match award was presented to Bharat Sindhwani for his fighting innings by coach Madan Sharma and umpire Dharmesh Bhardwaj.
