New Delhi: Brilliant performances by Rohit Goyat and Sujal Rajiv Singh guided Ran Star Cricket Club to a commanding victory in the 49th All India Lala Raghubir Singh Hot Weather Prize Money Cricket Tournament being played at Modern School, Barakhamba Road.

Batting first, Ran Star Cricket Club posted a massive total of 326/7 in 40 overs. Sujal Rajiv Singh starred with a brilliant century, scoring 114 runs off 89 balls with 11 fours and 5 sixes. Raman Rangi contributed 77 runs, Vaibhav Sood scored 44, while Keshav R Singh remained unbeaten on 40 runs. Keshav Dabas also played an important role for the winning side.

In reply, Bright Cricket Club were bowled out for 102 runs in 17.2 overs. Kushal Suman scored 33 runs and Vansh Mehra added 28 runs for the losing side. Sachin Pundir was the standout bowler for Bright Cricket Club with 4 wickets for 68 runs.

For Ran Star Cricket Club, Rohit Goyat delivered a match-winning spell, taking 5 wickets for just 12 runs in 5 overs, including a maiden over.

Ran Star Cricket Club won the match by a huge margin of 224 runs.

The Man of the Match award was jointly presented to Rohit Goyat and Sujal Rajiv Singh for their outstanding performances with both bat and ball. The awards were presented by Rajiv Lamba. Sujal Rajiv Singh impressed with his brilliant century of 114 runs, while Rohit Goyat claimed 5 wickets conceding only 12 runs.
