New Delhi: Mount Cricket Club has won the inaugural match of the 50th Goswami Ganesh Dutt Memorial Cricket Tournament.

The tournament was inaugurated by Shri Gautam Gambhir, Head Coach of the Indian Cricket Team, who also performed the trophy unveiling ceremony, adding prestige and significance to this golden jubilee edition.

The opening match was played between Mount Cricket Club and Friends Cricket Club. Mount Cricket Club emerged victorious with a 27-run win, showcasing a well-rounded performance in both batting and bowling departments.

Match Summary:

Toss: Friends Cricket Club won the toss and opted to bowl first.

Mount Cricket Club scored 167/6 in 20 overs: Yugal Saini (Captain): 55 runs off 36 balls (4 fours, 2 sixes). Yamit Sehrawat: 36 runs off 37 balls (1 four, 3 sixes)

Eshaan Arora (Captain – Friends Cricket Club): 3 wickets for 23 runs.

Friends Cricket Club all out for 140: Dhanya Nakra: 37 runs off 21 balls (1 four, 4 sixes). Suraj Satpal Rathore: 32 runs off 30 balls (2 fours, 1 six),  Saksham Gehlot: 3 wickets for 21 runs, Vishal Rai: 2 wickets for 20 runs, Abhishek: 2 wickets for 26 runs.
