Ravneet Tanwar Stars as LB Shastri Coaching Centre Beat Professional Management CC by 24 Runs

New Delhi: LB Shastri Coaching Centre produced a complete team performance to register an impressive 24-run victory over Professional Management Cricket Club (PMCC) in a high-scoring encounter of the 51st All India Goswami Ganesh Dutt Memorial Cricket Tournament.

After being asked to bat first, LB Shastri Coaching Centre posted a formidable 200/9 in 20 overs, before restricting PMCC to 176 all out in 18.3 overs.

The foundation of LB Shastri’s innings was laid by Man of the Match Ravneet Tanwar, who played a crucial knock of 39 runs off 27 balls, smashing five boundaries and two sixes. His aggressive approach provided the perfect start and set the tone for the innings.

Ravneet’s contribution did not end with the bat. He also delivered with the ball, claiming 2 important wickets during PMCC’s chase, making a decisive impact in both departments.

He was well supported by Vinay, who blasted 44 runs off just 20 deliveries, while Kaushal Suman added a valuable 40 runs. Late contributions from Sampoorn (26) and Dev Dubey (15) ensured LB Shastri crossed the 200-run mark.

Despite ending up on the losing side, Ajay Ahlawat displayed tremendous fighting spirit and was deservedly named Fighter of the Match.

Ajay was the standout bowler for PMCC, producing an excellent spell of 4 wickets for 35 runs in 4 overs, accounting for key wickets and preventing LB Shastri from posting an even bigger total.

Chasing 201, PMCC showed glimpses of resistance through Pardeep Malik (33), Vivek Yadav (27), Kush Nagpal (22) and Dhanya Nakra (23). However, LB Shastri’s disciplined bowling attack kept striking at regular intervals.

Vipin was the most successful bowler with 3 wickets for 16 runs, while Ravneet Tanwar and Yatish picked up two wickets each to dismantle the PMCC batting lineup. PMCC were eventually bowled out for 176 in 18.3 overs, handing LB Shastri a convincing victory.
