Vishal Rai and Yamit Sehrawat Shine as Mount Cricket Club Register Impressive Victory in 49th All India Lala Raghubir Singh Hot Weather Prize Money Cricket Tournament

New Delhi: Mount Cricket Club produced an outstanding all-round performance to defeat Delhi Cricket Hub by 9 wickets in the 49th All India Lala Raghubir Singh Hot Weather Prize Money Cricket Tournament being played at Modern School, Barakhamba Road.
Batting first, Delhi Cricket Hub were bowled out for 117 runs in 27.1 overs. Ranji Trophy cricketer Hiten Dalal was the top scorer with 36 runs, while Sayansh Bora contributed 24 runs.
For Mount Cricket Club, Man of the Match Vishal Rai delivered a match-winning spell, claiming 3 wickets for 21 runs. He was well supported by Manas Joshi, who picked up 3 wickets for 9 runs, while Saksham Gehlot chipped in with 2 wickets for 21 runs.
In reply, Mount Cricket Club chased down the target comfortably, reaching 121/1 in just 14.5 overs. Yugal Saini played a brilliant innings of 57 runs, while Yamit Sehrawat remained unbeaten on 52 off 31 balls, smashing 5 fours and 3 sixes to guide his team to a convincing victory.
At the post-match presentation ceremony, the Man of the Match award was presented to Vishal Rai by Mr. Naveen Chopra of Modern School, Barakhamba Road. The Fighter of the Match award was presented to Hiten Dalal for his fighting knock.
The second semifinal of the tournament will be played between Bal Bhavan Dwarka and Run Star Club. The winner of that match will face Noida Wonders in the grand final.
Although Mount Cricket Club bowed out of the tournament, the team signed off on a positive note with a dominant victory and several impressive individual performances.
